ABOUT GENERAL MOTORS

General Motors (GM) is one of the world’s largest car and truck manufacturers. The company began as a holding company in Flint, Michigan; in 1904, William Durant established the company to save Buick, which was bankrupt and very small at the time. In the next two years, Durant would also acquire brands like Oldsmobile and Cadillac. GM was officially incorporated in 1908. In the past 110 years, GM has grown immensely. Despite its ups and downs, the company is still massive. GM operates in 35 countries across six continents.

The influence GM has had on automobiles, transportation, and science has been massive. Check out this brief video about their partnership with NASA.
